At Blue River Forestry & Tree Care, the health and safety of our staff, clients, and community are our highest priority. We are taking every measure possible to adhere to the guidelines laid out by the City of Boulder Emergency Orders 2020-3, 2020-4, and 2020-6, in order to do our part to “flatten the curve” while continuing to provide tree care services in order to keep our community’s landscape healthy and hazard free.
FAQs
Are you open?
We are accepting new work, and for the most part, because a large majority of tree care is essential for safety, are continuing with business as scheduled.
What actions are you taking to keep me and my family safe?
Our sales team will still meet with you in your yard, while maintaining the protocol for social distancing, so no hello handshakes right now, but you will be greeted with a great big smile.
What about your staff?
- We have reduced employee access to office space by over 80%, and our essential office staff works either remotely or from separate rooms within the office. Office staff sanitizes all surfaces and “high-touch” objects several times throughout the day.
- Our field technicians clock in and out remotely from their personal cell phones, and receive paperwork and directions either through a drop box or via text message. All technicians have access to masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, soap, and cleaning supplies.
- We have instituted a mandatory policy of one person per vehicle, and all of our production work is done outdoors with crews ranging in size from 3-5 technicians. All vehicles and equipment are sanitized at the beginning and end of each work day, and each field technician has his or her own equipment to avoid sharing and facilitate adherence to social distancing restrictions.
The team at Blue River Forestry & Tree Care is excited about the upcoming season and will continue to provide all our clients with the excellent service they deserve. We have made it through many challenges in the past and will continue to do our part to help keep our community safe and healthy.
We will continue to monitor federal, state, and municipal declarations and do our part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback for us regarding this crisis, please don’t hesitate to call us at (720) 256-9056.
We are here for you and your trees!
